Since git is so fundamental to the software development process, Windsurf should, at all times, be perfectly aware of:
  • git status
  • git diff
  • probably more
of any project.
Wasting credits on having Cascade run these commands is, plainly put, dumb and wasteful, not to mention slow and flow-breaking.
Windsurf should be smart about this and could make far better suggestions to the user as a result.
